Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth - anyone played it? I've seen it around but have no idea if it's any good.

My inner Lovecraft fan wants to buy it :D

I seem to recall people saying that it was fairly good, but really hard. I haven't played it myself.

I've been wanting to try it as I'm a big fan of Bethesda (the people that made it, who are also behind the Elder Scrolls series). But for now I'll have to wait as I would need money or a fast internet connection.

Chimera,

You ever buy the game? I've bought it, but not installed it yet.

The game is buggy and the developer went out of business after its release so no bug fixes. I played the Xbox version and hit the bug at the jail chapter that didn't allow me to continue so I gave it up. I looked into the PC version available through steam and it seems it is just as buggy. A real shame as it was fun up until that point.

Excuse my necromancy. :P

If you want a Lovecraftian horror experience, I would recommend checking out Amnesia: The Dark Descent http://bit.ly/wtEy4E
