Everyone of a certain age (and, many after that age) probably remembers The New Yorker 1976 cover showing a New Yorker's perspective on the world. Here is an update on that cover.

Both, of course, are just mildly(???) insulting to the rest of the world.

That's not very updated. (The presence of the Twin Towers is a rather large clue there, as is the text referring to it as a "wonderful 1970s map".)
