Anyone read Primal Wound? I am hearing a lot about it and requested it through Interlibrary Loan. I'd love to hear what others think of it.

I would recommend this work to anyone who wants to learn more about adoption. It is mildly depressing, but definitely helpful in understanding adoption on an emotional and psychological level. I agreed strongly with the book's thesis, that children should not be separated from their mothers in most cases. It was an honest portrayal of much that is usually ignored.

Primal Wound is the one book that I suggest is for later reading and not for someone just tryig to understand adoption dynamics. the older I get, the more I believe that this is one of those books for folks that are well into their search or in the reunion phase of thrie search.
