Outside of the fact the band seems to have cut a very obscure lp in 1967 ("Live at Papa Joe's Northern a go go")- has anyone got any biographical information. I believe they were out of Minneapolis-St. Paul.

This was the only specific thing I could find about that album, but if you dig through here (Googling "The Starliners" with "garage") there seem to be some traces of info on the band.

I believe there is a Twin Cities oriented Killed By Death or whatever. I forget the names of all those series. One of their contemporaries might be able to get you somewhere. And, they'd probably be thrilled to be contacted.

That was a good series... i think I still have one of the lps. Punk stuff, from the 70s-80s, though, wasn't it?

I'll have to look up the members names. The lp is signed by the band. If I can overcome my inertia, it is e-bay bound, eventually.
