I just thought it would be neat to share some different ideas on what we like in books.
Myself, I am a big lover of Young Adult Fantasy and Fantasy Romance Novels. I love anything that takes me out of the world of the mundane and into something totally surreal.
My favorite books are Twilight and The Mediator series.
I've also recently developed a passion for Louise Rennison's Confessions of Georgia Nicolson books which are neither fantasy or romantic but are hilariously funny.

Hi, Demonlover. Thanks for sharing.
In general, my favorite books tend to contain insightful lessons or morals, for readers to contemplate...I cannot name a single genre which I like best.
To try to answer your question more precisely, I'll just direct your attention to my LibraryThing catalog. Right now, I'm using LibraryThing only as a list of favorite books, rather than as an exhaustive list of all books I own.
From my catalog, based on what you wrote, I think you'd most enjoy PROMETHEA.

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't usually read graphic novels, but I could give it a shot! I'll have to see if I can get it from the library.
