I have a 6yo that will be finishing up with Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons. I was looking at Learning Language Arts Through Literature and was wondering if I could go straight into the Learning Language Arts Through Literature Red or if I needed to start with Learning Language Arts Through Literature Blue. Blue is listed as a first grade book but is also teaching how to read as there is no kindergarten level. Anyone have experience with these levels? TIA!

I wish I could help you, but I've never used that curriculum, many of my friends do though. I wonder if you could look at the books recommended by the red and the blue and get an idea from that?

Thank you. I think I have it figured out. I was able to buy a used red set and the gal who sold it was very helpful. But if anyone comes along with input, I am willing to listen!
