Match the books to the game; interesting concept.

I'm slowly making my way through Crucible of War: The Seven Years' War and the Fate of Empire in British North America, 1754-1766 while playing Wilderness War, a card driven game on the same subject. A very nice combination.

How is that working?

So far so good, but i've only read the intoduction and the first two chapters, due to an overloaded work schedule. The game is one of the best card driven games in my opinion, focussing on the different types of regular and irregular military units. I'm playing a pbem game which progresses at a slow pace. Nice though.
