I collect specimen books, and have digitized a few of the fonts. (You can find a couple of them out on the web.)
After those few I kind of gave up -- it was mindbendingly labor-intensive. But it's been a thrill whenever I find a book which uses one of them, like Horatio's Drive.
The composer David Rakowski released dozens years ago, when he was a young music teacher at Columbia, but seems to have quit around the time he won the Prix de Rome (ca. 1996).

I designed a font called Kadosh Samaritan which is based on the Samaritan language script. Samaritan is a late form of paleohebrew script and is orthographically cognate with the Phoenican alphabet. However, I've never tried my hand at a Latin script... I'm sure I don't have the skill. But I will enjoy looking at the fonts you have made!
