I'm looking for memoirs/autobiographies of life in the 1920s, especially, though not exclusively, in the United States. Thanks for any suggestions you may have!

Russell Baker has an excellent autobiography, entitled "Growing Up," which covers some of that period. The book chronicles his childhood, was well-written (as befits a journalist/author) and fun to read.
