Deep winter is the season for me to warm myself in front of the telly, when gardening and construction projects just have to be put off.
This weekend, I stumbled upon a PBS film about origami, called Between the Folds. It is a remarkable presentation of the cutting edges of origami; interviews with the masters. You would expect meeting artists here, but you also meet theoretical scientists; geniuses who are using the maths of origami to help us understand molecules and also the foundations of the Universe.
