I don't seem to have a read a whole lot of varied non-fiction. Hopefully I will read more to add to this list though, and I will think of more I have read in the past that qualify!

Edited to add: I'm basing most of this off LT's dewey numbers, so hopefully those are basically correct...

Zero is on my wishlist--what did you think? The LT reviews are mixed.

Hmm just to clarify I actually read Zero : the biography of a dangerous idea not the other work that Zero is touchstoning to. If you are still asking about the same book that I read, then I enjoyed it very much. If you are looking for complicated math, this book isn't it, but if you want an interesting look at the importance and history of zero then it is very good :) I can't think of many details because I read it a few years ago, but I definitely enjoyed it at the time; it inspired me to do a presentation on zero for a class assignment.

Hmm I don't want to mess up my previous touchstones since they seem to load slowly today, but I realized I've also read
