Well I don't quite know what happened with 2015 as far as LT is concerned. I didn't make a conscious decision not to participate, I just kept not getting round to posting my first thread of the year, and the months fled by so quickly I soon found the year was nearly over. It may partly be that life in my new situation is more sociable (with several local friends who love talking about and swapping books) so that there is more competition for my time and attention.
Meanwhile I've been reading, no problem, and just about keeping a note of what I've read, though I haven't yet updated most of my records on LT for the books read in 2015. I fully intended to get straight on and start a thread in January this year, but here we are more than half way through Feb already before I got round to it.
I was inspired today by my visit with a friend to a lovely rambling second-hand bookshop out in the country (complete with cafe) to re-engage with LT. I came back with 9 new (used) books to add to my groaning TBR shelves, and have just added them all to my catalogue. Before I get carried away with further catalogue updates, it felt like time at last to start my thread.
I've missed all the conversations and book recommendations and friendship within this group. It may take a while for me to get round and visit other threads and catch up - but I do hope to reconnect with old friends and perhaps make new ones within the group.
Will probably keep my thread simpler, without lots of codes and lists - certainly one thing that made me procrastinate about starting a new thread was thinking about how long it takes to set everything up the way I was doing it before. So for now I'll just reserve the next post for me to add my books read so far this year, and leave it at that.

I was just procrastinating so much about doing them last year, and getting so far behind as a result, but if you know you can write a quick review in a couple of minutes it makes it feel much more achievable.
