I seem to have developed something of a penchant for London based Urban Fantasy of late. I've even made a list:

Further contributions and comments on these and other examples are welcome!

Of the ones I've listed, Sixty-One Nails didn't really impress me enough to pursue the series further. A Matter of Blood I remember being good if dark; ought to check out it's sequels. Otherwise, I'd recommend all of them if you like that sort of thing.

I'm not really sure of the definition of Urban Fantasy, and guess that Harry Potter wouldn't appear in most people's definition, but there are a lot more books that have both tags.

Well needless to say I'm interested in books sort of like these ones which I like... Which means not YA/kids I suppose. I looked at the London/Fantasy tagmash, the first few of which that I wasn't already aware of were YA. Perhaps there's a certain implication in the "urban" bit of something a bit darker or more adult? Anyway, personally recommendations/descriptions are good!

A Madness of Angels is the first in a series which you might enjoy.
