Hi! I saw this group mentioned as I commented on the mystery readers thread and it sounds wonderful. I have a bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from Stockton College (now University) in New Jersey. Due to health issues I am at home but that is what is great about writing. Being home is a good place to be if you want to write. I am delighted to talk to others about books and writers, writing and authors, authors lives and their works, the whole shebang! Yay! on finding this group!

Hello! My sister went to Stockton some years ago (graduated late 1980s) and I visited her there once or twice -- we grew up in Mercerville (near Trenton and Princeton). I live in Houston, TX now. Nice to meet you!

Nice to meet you! You wouldn't believe how Stockton has grown. Two of my daughters graduated from there also.

What do you most like to read? For me, it's mostly science fiction and fantasy, although I'm currently reading a realistic novel set in Iraq. I'm also reading mostly short stories these days rather than novels.

I do also like some "chick lit" and mysteries, and I read a fair number of children's and young adult books.

I was a coward, I opted for a computer science degree so I could find a job, instead of the creative writing degree I would have wished for. Lots of people write (and succeed) without one, but I've always wondered what I missed out on.
