Simon Winchester speaking at the November Baxter Society Meeting...come one, come all...

You are invited to join the Baxter Society in welcoming Simon Winchester to Portland, Maine. Simon has written many wonderful books, my personal favorite being the modern classic, Professor and the Madman...though the Map That Changed the World was right up there. If you've read one, you've likely read them all. His topic will actually be that of his new, as yet unpublished, book...you'll hear of it here first. There will be books available for sale and he is willing to do some signing.

The meeting will be Nov. 14th and will be held EITHER at USM's, Glickman Library OR UNE's, Parker Pavillion. I will update you before as to the location...but set your calendar now. We hope to see you there.
