Monster

I enjoyed reading this graphic novel. It was the first graphic novel I have ever read and the format really made the story seem more realistic. The visuals including the font, the black and white, color scheme, the way the characters were drawn with such realistic human features. I like the suspense that the author created for the readers and I also like how he addressed so many issues such as racial equality, struggling family problems etc. He gave us point of views from different people and I think that is important to grab the concept that not everyone is like you or has the same lifestyle as you do. It was a quick and easy read and I would definitely recommend this book to young adult readers.
