They asked everybody to stay to speak to the police. Do you think the killer was still around, or would they have already made their getaway?

It was possible that the killer was still there. There are some killers that like to watch the action after their kills but it didn't seem very likely since it was a small group of people and would have been more difficult to hide or to blend in. It also seemed like it was more of a spur of the moment thing...kill and get out.

I think that it's a wise move. You have to be able to document who was there. I think the murderer was probably gone already.

I suppose the killer probably was not in the pool but would not be surprised if they were watching what was going on.

I thought the killer would be well gone by this stage, but one of the others might have seen the killer.

>2 Carol420: Carol, what made you think the murder was a spur of the moment thing? Now you've said it, it does possibly fit but I wondered what made you come to this conclusion?

Strangulation seemed to me as something that didn't take a great deal of planning...you just did it...no weapons to carry or dispose of... and posing the body instead of just getting out of there. Set her up and hope no one notices for awhile. They may have even thought the police would think they just sat down and died. They were't a reader of mystery & suspense novels...obviously:)

Unless it's a member of on duty staff, I think the killer will have legged it - don't risk being caught on site!
I can't see any of the over 60's aqua-aerobics group having anything in common with the victim that would have lead to them murdering her...

I could see it going either way. Like Sergei said if the killer is an employee they would stick around. I think the killer is a woman. She would be the least unnoticed walking through a woman's locker room.
