Jenny Lister was a Social Worker responsible for Fostering and Adoption. Could that be linked to her death?

It could be but I think her death is closer to home than that. The fiance of her daughter has a mother that doesn't approve of any of the Lister household and seems very protective of her son. Of course this is more than likely exactly what Ann Cleeves wants me to believe at this point.

I don't think so. It seems too obvious a clue right now.

I think a better reason would be her ex-husband may want her out of the way or the fiancé doesn't want any objections to his marrying Jennie's daughter.

I do wonder if it is connected to her job! But still so many other possibilities too.

At this point, Andrew, I couldn't say what is or is not relevant to Jenny's death. Good job we have Vera on the case! : )
