Was Vera wrong for treating Freya like a child when she wanted to speak to Michael?

I thought that was sooo funny!

(And sooo Vera!)

Vera didn't have to be that rude but it is typical Vera.

I think Vera was incredibly rude, but it's what we enjoy about her. There are dozens of other lady DIs we could read about but they don't have Vera's charm.

I think this took her rudeness to a new level, but was very humorous. Do you want an orange juice or shall I get you an ice cream! Certainly not forgivable in the lead of a police investigation.

I'd have taken the ice cream in a heartbeat:) She was very rude but as you have all said that's our Vera.

Vera seems to get more flawed with each book. She's such an interesting character!
