What Joe right to have a go at Vera?

Joe should have held his tongue, but Vera goaded him to the point where he let fly. Unprofessional behaviour on both their parts.
They need to keep clear heads to work on the case - letting their emotions run away with them will not help either of them.

Vera does pick on Joe at times too so I would just say that is the way they get along.

She definitely does it on purpose.

I actually think he was right to do this, but Vera wouldn't have let anyone else do it. Interesting that she apologised the next day!

Vera is his supervision no matter how rude she is at times. He knows how she is and where it's hard to sit and be degraded she's done it before and it will happen again. Walk away Joe.

I think Joe actually needs to draw some lines with Vera but he needs to do it in a more professional way and not stoop to Vera's way of communicating.
