Do you feel they are putting all their eggs in one basket with Michael Morgan? Is this based on the evidence or everyone's dislike for him?

They do need to keep all their options open, but this is looking their likeliest option at the moment, so it's right to follow it to see where it gets them.
While Vera has let Morgan get under her skin, I do think she is also basing her investigation on the facts. I trust Vera not to get side tracked, but to keep her eyes on the wider picture.

Ann is going to point us in all directions but I have confidence that Vera will put it all together in the end and probably before any of us will figure it out.

It looks like Michael is such an obvious suspect. I don't think Vera will let them concentrate solely on him.

I think Vera at this stage was leading them to virtually solely concentrate on Michael, mainly because he got under her skin but Vera is too good to allow this to continue. I don't think he is the murderer.

She is making the mistake that many times the police make....making someone a suspect and concentrating on them solely based on their dislike or disapproval of that person. Ann is a slippery one and Michel is just too obvious. Micheal can go home and seduce some more gullible women...he's off my list.

Again, I agree with Carol.
