How competent do you think the police investigation has been?

We're having trouble sorting through the clues, so I'm not going to judge Vera and her people...
Though I will say, there seems to be a lot of one-upmanship going on (especially with Holly), instead of a whole lot of teamwork!

I don't think they have been on top of things totally. Seems to be a disconnected investigation in places.

It does seem as though they have made some mistakes, particularly not knowing about Michael's clinic at the Willows. Also a total lack of team work and I have to say it leadership from the top. Vera needs to stop focusing on herself so much. The team need more guidance and direction.

I'll have to forgive them for not knowing about the clinic because it wasn't listed as part of the Willow's because he just rented space and the registration desk didn't schedule any of Michael's clients. It has been rather disconnected at times but that's they way investigations go because they have to follow EVERY lead rather it's connected to the case they are working or not and the leads often lead in a hundred different directions. They are doing the job right and it will eventually fall into place.

I think Vera could work on her leadership skills, follow up more with people, do less of the investigating herself and delegate more.

Most definitely Lynsey.
