Did you have any thoughts why Vera wanted to speak to Mattie? What was she wanting to check up on?

I think she wanted to find out where she had spent her years before Michael and what her life had been like that Jenny would find enough to write a book about.

I thought she wanted to see if anything in her early life could be connected to the events happening now.

I think Vera was wanting to talk to Mattie more about her background and possibly where she had lived. It seems to me that she was putting the pieces together that Veronica had more children than just Simon and she wanted some confirmation of that.

Didn't know what Vera was after, she played her cards too close to her chest and we weren't let in on her thought processes.
