What were the positive features of the book?

More background on the characters. I think there were less red herrings in this one and the story wasn't so intertwined. It was easier to come up with who might have done it this time without taking anything away from the flow of the story.

I agree with Carol about more background on the characters and a not so complicated plot.

As usual, easy reading, a good story told well.

An excellent process displayed in this book with an array of interesting characters, even if you didn't like a number of them. Liked Joe being more involved in the story.

Definitely stronger character development.
