Hi all! I've neglected my reading this year - I seem to have gotten busy with so many other things, but I'm hoping to join in from August (looking forward to more gothic novels, which I enjoyed last year).
I must ask.... whatever happened to Sara?

Saraslibrary? There's a tombstone next to her name, and when you go to her profile it says she has been removed. She was very active on here last year and earlier this year.
5Moomin_Mama
That's a shame. Still, I see a few familiar names :)

>3 Moomin_Mama: Yes, I remember her. She was very active here. Is that what happens when you delete your account? Sounds more like she was removed for posting spam...?
7Moomin_Mama
>6 sturlington: She never seemed like a spammer. Odd. Unless she comes back on we'll never know, I guess...

No, it still has that awkward message. I thought they said they were going to change it, but I guess they haven't.
9sturlington
I see, it just says she's been removed, but not why. So she could have removed herself.

>8 .Monkey.: Were LT going to change the message on the profile page when a person no longer has an account?
11.Monkey.
Yeah. It was brought up when a very active longtime member suddenly vanished and some people were concerned, given that msg on the profile, that he had been mistakenly booted, but Loranne confirmed the acct was deleted on his end and said they ought to make the message clearer, but...

Oh no! I'm sad to admit that I hadn't noticed. :-( Yes, she was very active here.

>13 LibraryCin: Maybe she'll come back, I hope so.
15LibraryCin
I sure hope so, too.

She was active here. I wonder why she left. :(

Any thoughts on when we begin planning for next year? I'm storing some of my books for a while and I want to know what I need to keep out.

ETA: I see you started a new thread, so I'll just put this idea over there instead...

I'm always down for group reads. I may not be able to participate much, given the language situation here (plus that I'd have to renew my public library card anyway for anything I don't own & have no plans to buy, which I'm not really looking to do for another few years yet, and the uni library is limited on genre fic), but anything that I could join in with, I would.
