Who was responsible for Chloe's drug problem, was it her modelling career, Thom Novak or herself?

The weakness was in herself. The job probably just gave her more ease of access or temptation towards drug use. Thom Novak and his own addiction would not have helped matters.

The overall weakness was in Chloe, but circumstances - career and people she was mixing with exacerbated this situation.

Chloe made bad decisions, especially when she was younger. My issue is that she has gone through multiple rehabs without seeming to take responsibility for her actions. We don't have much insight into her actions so I might be too harsh.

Circumstances contribute, but only Chloe can save Chloe.

I do wonder about the relationship with the parents...

Probably combination of everything going on in her life but ultimately her own decision.
