Are you surprised that Hilary hasn't mentioned the letter to the other people on the course? Should she?

I thought she might have brought it up in a conversational manner, asking if any of the other women were suffering prejudice in any form - no need to make a big issue of it, just feel out the lay of the land.

I'm surprised she didn't mention it since it's likely the other woman may have received something similar. That way she might be able to determine if it's against her personally.

I think it's best that she doesn't say anything unless someone else brings it up. It's best to be quiet especially if you have turned it over to the police because you don't want to provoke anyone.

I don't see why she mentioned it to others. If she was worried...which she obviously was...she should have told the police.

I am surprised that she had not mentioned it to others, she may not be the only one receiving them.

Her behavior is very strange - either she's worried and then she would talk about it with others, or she's not and then why reach out to Ruth.
