What are your thoughts on Paula's murder? The same murderer? The letter writer? Any other ideas?

That threw me. I still don't get the motivation.

Yes, I think it's the same murderer. And I think Doreen is the key to all that is happening.
Everything sounds so idyllic surrounding the fostering: hundreds of happy kids all turning up lovingly at her funeral as adults; but my view on fostering is that it takes place in far from idyllic circumstances, split homes and troubled children. And I'm not sure I believe that Doreen's own children didn't feel jealous or excluded on occasion. So, lots of room for smouldering resentments which could get out of hand over the years.
I think Paula will turn out to be one of Doreen's foster children.

I'm still (slightly) inclined to think the letter writer is not the killer, but this opinion may change.

I think her son said she had fostered hundreds of children...that's a lot of suspects. Paula could have been one of her kids...Chloe was and she's dead. Why is it only woman that are blond and resemble one another that's being killed? Looks like if it had to do with the fostering...and Sergei made a great case for it...why just women that share these traits? Surely they weren't all blonds that look like Michelle.

I like Sergei's summation about the fostering. I think it is the same murderer. Not sure that it's the letter writer.

I can't understand what motivated the killer to attack Paula. He seems to have something against attractive women with blonde hair. I'm assuming the fostering has some relevance.

I think it was the same murderer and it is definitely linked to the fostering. However I don't think it is the letter writer. Is the killer one of Doreen's children?
