Does Nelson prefer Ruth to Michelle?

I think they fill very different needs.

No. I think he's torn between the two women.

They each give him something that he needs in just being who and how they are. Not to mention he shares daughters with both women now.

He actually prefers them both but that's not realistic so he has to make a decision.

I think he's attracted to both for different reasons. I still think he and Ruth would be miserable together.
