Larry doesn't admit to knowing much about the children his mother fostered. What are your thoughts about this and him?

Depends on how old he was at the time. I dare say it was difficult to keep track of the majority of them - some only stay for days or weeks - and there were over a hundred of them.
However, he must have been able to recall some of them.

It would be hard to remember 100 foster children or maybe he's not being upfront with his answers.

>3 EadieB: I don't think he is, I still strongly suspect him of being our murderer.

There were at least 100 of them and he told Harry when he was first questioned that he was nearly grown an gone so wasn't very familiar with any of them. He also said that some of them only stayed a few weeks or even days.

I agree. He is still on my suspect list too.

I think it would depend on how much time he spent with them. He's definitely on my suspect list too.

I would think that in a household that saw a lot of children coming and going, there would be some you remember and a lot you forgot after so many years. Saying you don't remember much us quite an undifferentiated answer. Which of course makes him suspicious.

I also think it's a strange attitude, given that he became a vicar!
