Ruth joked with Hilary that she had never seen Cathbad before in her life. Is this a side of Ruth we've seen before? Any Thoughts?

I don't remember Ruth as being the quip-making type.
Perhaps she's mellowing in her old age...

I think I remember her being this way with Cathbad before. She just feels very comfortable with him.

It's something she doesn't do very often. I believe she's too afraid of being judged thanls to her parents but she's comfortable with Cathbad and he would never judge her.

It was a nice to see Ruth not being so stern. Cathbad is one of her oldest friends and he knows just about every one of her secrets so she's at ease around him.

This did seem a little out of character for her, and we need to see more of this from her.
