Cathbad says 'love is always good'. Do you agree?

Yes. Love can be a good thing, if you fall in love with the right person. I love this quote and think it puts love in the right perspective: "Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away."

No. Love can be a bad thing if you fall in love with the wrong person and they do you harm.

Another good quote: "If you have not loved, you have not lived."

>2 EadieB: Nice quotes, Eadie.
I think Cathbad has the right of it - the world would be a better place if there was a lot more love and a lot less hate about.

Have to agree with both of you. The world can certainly use less hate. That Cathbad is a pretty smart guy:)

I'm going to disagree just a little. A stalker thinks he loves someone but that is not necessarily good. A lot of abuse victims think they love the person who injures them but that's not always good. But I agree that, in principle, love is good more often than not.

Love can be a two edged sword, if it leads somebody down a delusional path.

>5 Olivermagnus: I agree, love is a strong powerful positive force most of the time, but also can be used as a power tool on someone when it can become a negative. However, where would we be without love.
