Where there any areas where the book could have been improved?

I can't think of any. The clues were there but hidden pretty well.

I'm happy with the book as it is.

Nothing except my new knowledge of Madonna Lactans.

I did not really like the murder plot.

I would have liked a bit more involvement of Cathbad in the book, whilst there he didn't have a lot to do or say.
