George Grote's History of Greece

I'm looking into getting this set and wondering if there is an edition to look for or avoid. Anyone have an idea?

If I were you (but I'm east of the Atlantic) I'd get a late 19th century John Murray edition in ten or twelve volumes. The Dent Everyman edition is a little tatty and is probably (if my own set is anything to go by) getting a little weak in the bindings. The surviving Murray sets are often school prizes, so are both little used and attractively bound, and available for no more than a POD paperback booksploitation set. I don't know anything about its US publication history, though.
