The beautiful Belknap Press/Harvard University Press annotated Mansfield Park is finally out, and I have a copy in my hands so my set of these is complete. This one was was delayed so many times, right up to the final publication date. It is edited by Austen scholar Deidre Shauna Lynch.

I can't seem to find any info on an upcoming annotated Mansfield Park in the David M Shapard series. I wonder if they've cancelled it.

It's a shame if they did. I suspect a lot in Mansfield Park would be improved by annotation.

My holiday present to me: this edition of Mansfield Park. Now I'm only missing Emma in this edition. These books are so beautiful; real keepsakes.
