Peter Vaughan, the actor who played Maester Aemon has died at the age of 93. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/12/06/arts/television/peter-vaughan-maester-aemon-in... I do remember him in Time Bandits.
Though he had been in many movies over the year to become so famous at such a late age is spectacular.
