Who do you think cleaned up the house where the murdered woman was discovered, and why?

The house may have been cleaned up by one of the members who attended the ritual killing. They may have been trying to cover up some evidence.

I agree with Eadie. The house sure didn't clean itself.

I think Andrew means who cleaned up the basement in the present.
I don't think it was the SOC team. Perhaps it was the builders?

>4 Sergeirocks: Sorry, obviously didn't set the question well, I did mean who had cleaned it up before MacBride and McLean revisited the scene, McLean did say someone had cleaned it but didn't think it would be the SOCO team.
Were the builders clearing away some incriminating evidence, although possibly too late by then. May have just wanted to get back to work.

I'm guessing the builders.

I would think that it would maybe be the killers. They would be the ones that would want to destroy evidence.

I think it might be whoever is behind the current killings.

I'm leaning towards the builders, but I like the idea that it's the current killer too.

I don't know, but...
Working on the theory that Smythe's killer worked or was held at the site. Perhaps he was there after the police finished their investigation and whoever set the killer up to do the murder went back to the site to clean up any telltale signs that they had been there.
