Not sure they have put that together yet. I think they think Garner and Stewart murders have to do with their homosexuality.

Probably for the same reason that Duguid waited more than an hour and then sent McLean to the scene. He knows that he arrested the wrong man and it looks like he's trying to come up with a way to get out of it.

I think the police are too busy trying to sweep the murders under the carpet, claim they're solved so the statistics look good. Tony has been ordered to let it go.

I am very surprised that there hasn't been a discussion about the similarities between the murders. Ooh we've solved another one! Or at least that is how it looks in the statistics!

I think they will but right now the evidence is pointing at Garner. The police would prefer to have two solved murders instead of two connected and unsolved ones.

>7 Olivermagnus: i agree. they're going with the simplest solutions (immigration, hate crime, etc) rather than linking the cases for a more complex (and unsolved) possiblity

I am wondering why McLean is not thinking along those lines. Though he has concerns that things don't feel right, he does not bring up these similarities. I would have expected him to bring this up at this point.

>9 sushicat: I know. the similarities are too much to not at least consider it or mention it. I mean, really, how many separate killers can be roaming the streets of the City that have an MO where they disembowel the victim and stuff random organs in the mouth?

>9 sushicat: >10 bhabeck: Yes! I guess we can blame him having so many things on his mind: the funeral, the murder, the dead girl, the supernatural clues that don't make sense, the burglaries... I'm hoping when he has a moment, the lightbulb will go off and he'll start piecing it together.
