Who did you think Carstairs was looking for at the funeral? And why did he rush off?

I think he was looking for the other man in Esther's photo - the one that looks like her son. I have no idea why Carstairs rushed off but it sure looks suspicious to me.

I'd agree with Eadie - can't think of anyone else who it might be.

I think he was looking for Tony's biological father. Now he rushed off for one of two reasons:
1. The biological father had contacted his office, or
2. Carstairs is involved in incidents in the past and someone has contacted him about current events. Could he be the killer?

I think it's the other man in the photo. Maybe Carstairs is the next victim.

I agree somewhat with all of you. I don't think Carstairs is the killer but he must know more about Esther's past and the men that were a part of it than we have been led to believe thus far. That knowledge alone might be making him a possible victim.

I agree with all of you, this is about the other grandfather. I expect that man will have been involved in the original murder. I wonder what happened to Esther's husband.

The other guy in the photo seems to be the consensus. I am finding Carstairs to be a little suspicious but I'm not clear on what yet.
