Were you surprised to find something in the stolen goods that was connected to the items they found at the murder scene? What do you think it means?
2Sergeirocks
Not a surprise. I think most of us had been expecting this to happen.
The only question remaining is whether the burglaries relating to the old murder are coincidental?

Not surprised at all. Though I am interested to see how this all ties together. Several of us seem to be speculating that there were trophies or some kind of proof/evidence that the perpetrators of the ritualistic kill kept and that these items are now being stolen.

I can't seem to figure out how the killings from the 40's and the obituary burglaries from the present are connecting unless the burglaries are of older people who have just died and they had some connection to the 6 killers from the 40's. Maybe they were attendees at the party where the killings were performed.

Not at all. The six killers in the 40's knew that there were "survivors" so to speak. I believe someone is collecting them and killing the old men that killed the girl.

I'm not surprised either. This is quite a neat means to bring information to the surface that would have been very difficult to introduce plausibly otherwise. I think that the series of burglaries is independent of the murder cases. It just happens that some of the burglary targets are the original group involved in the early murder. It seems they all did well for themselves.

I agree with >5 Carol420:. Someone is "paying back" the original killers.

>7 Olivermagnus: I also agree. Had expected this connection.
