I'm inclined to follow Tony's reasoning at the moment, and believe it's McReadie - but I'm prepared to be proved incorrect if the partial fingerprints suggest otherwise.

I'm thinking it's McReadie - (or even better, Jenny) - at the moment, we don't really have any other good suspects for that. But, someone new may be introduced soon that would fit the bill.

>3 bhabeck: why ever Jenny? I'm a bit worried she's the girl that killed Carstairs and jumped from the bridge.
On the evidence planting - I'm laying the blame to McReadie.

>6 sushicat: not that I really think it's her but it was mentioned that when Tony walked in to the house he smelled something and it seemed to me to be a perfume vs a cologne so I immediately thought woman. Plus, she just seems a bit off to me ... I can't picture Phil as a matchmaker

I 'll go with McReadie too.

I have it down as McReadie.

Missed the question earlier.
Good catch about the smell being perfume.
That certainly leads one to think Jenny. I still think she could be working with McReadie--therefore planted it deliberately-not "under the influence"
However you've now got me considering that jenny was the latest murderer/victim. However I'm not sure about the timeline. She'd have to have planted the drugs and money before the murder. Would the scent still linger in the house that long?
