What did you think of McIntyre's actions at the hospital?

I thought she did ok keeping herself together. The question doesn't make me think of anything so I guess I didn't think anything was off.

I also thought McIntyre did the right thing.

It actually makes a nice change in these books to have an empathetic senior officer.

>5 Sergeirocks: well, we do need someone to offset Dagwood - he's such an annoying bully

She did the correct thing at the hospital and I agree McIntyre is the direct opposite of Duguid .

I have to agree with all of you. She did the right thing and Brenda and Sergei are right in saying that it's nice to have empathetic senior officer. I can't help thinking about what Steele would have done and how completely opposite these two in charge people are.

She definitely acted in the right way, she was acting with empathy but also on self-protection because at this point McLean was a bit of a loose cannon!

I agree with you all. She did the right thing. It's nice to see a senior officer that is a strong but supportive boss and not a bumbling, incompetent or overbearing supervisor.
