I know I complained about the supernatural aspect initially but it worked with the way the story progressed and the way Tony finished things. I don't think I'd want it to be a constant part of Oswald's books as I'd like to read more of the Tony McLean series

I must admit I found the introduction of supernatural elements in the early part of the book confused things somewhat.

Oswald should have been more sure that he had answered... or at least offered a reasonable explanation... for some of the questions that he opened up.

I explained my feelings about the supernatural aspects in the previous question and I agree with Carol that the loose ends could have been tied up better.

My complaint about supernatural stories is that they are often used so the author doesn't have to come up with a plausible explanation for the events that have happened. This one wasn't too bad though.

The supernatural theme worked well here and I was satisfied with the conclusion but I'm not a fan and hope future books are not suffused with otherworldliness.

Again, I'm in line with your sentiments regarding the supernatural. It worked well, but I would appreciate it if they disappeared in the rest of the series.

>6 Olivermagnus: I agree with that thought Lynda.
It reminds me of the early Peter James books (Roy Grace Series) here a medium was involved, but this disappeared after a couple of books and the books were much better for it. I hope this happens for this series, because I love most aspects of the book apart from this supernatural element.

>9 Andrew-theQM: - That's the series I was thinking of too. The series got better once he discontinued that thread.
