Were you surprised at how the four boys were initially treated by the police?

I got ahead of myself. I think the police were too accusatory. They should have listened more...not that the boys were totally innocent...but they didn't kill anyone. The police are wasting time.

Not really surprised at all, since if you find a body, you are automatically considered a suspect.

It seemed to be going beyond treating them as suspects and treating as though one of them definitely did it. Think treated them too harshly at the beginning and the police had too closed minds.

It's normal to consider them suspects. But he seemed very adamant that they were suspects rather than witnesses. The police were very belligerent towards the boys from the beginning.

I wasn't surprised necessarily but I was annoyed by it. They seem too focused on the boys and may miss something/someone important because of the cops' assumption the boys were guilty
