Hey all,

This might be a silly question.

We're transitioning from an old card catalog system to using Librarything/TinyCat. Is it necessary to have (and stamp) physical due date cards in each book every time someone checks out a book? Or is there a better or easier way to let patrons know when their books are due?

Thanks.

Here's what I am doing at our church library, based on what I did when I was a school librarian:
I created generic book marks with something at the top like: Take Me Back to the Library on__
Then leave a line for the date due. (At school, where the circulation was huge, the book marks had months and then 1-30 on them. The due date was then circled. Hope this helps.
