Did Stephanie Nelle do the right thing in giving the book to Ashby? Why do you think she did this?

I thought maybe she was trying to help Henrik with his ploy to get Eliza to not trust Ashby.

Perhaps she hopes Ashby will lead them all to Napoleon's hoard?

I'm not sure why she did this. It seems like she's not really interested in either Eliza or Napoleon's treasures.

This doesn't make any sense to me. I'm sure there's going to be some sort of explanation.

I thought she did it to get Ashby into hot water. She got the information she needed from Ashby and thought Eliza might get more suspicious of him if he suddenly appeared with the book after he had told her he couldn't get it.

I thought it his was a bad move, as it could turn Henrik against Cotton.

I thought she may have given it to Ashby so that Caroline could lead them to the treasure.
