The Lewis trilogy which I really liked and two of his Enzo MacLeod books which I didn't care for at all.

The only ones I've read are the Lewis Trilogy, which we did as group reads. I enjoyed all 3 of those, giving them either 4 or 5 stars apiece.
I'm hoping for another story of that same calibre.

I've also only read the Lewis Trilogy via our group reads. They were all excellent. I am hoping for a great story. So far so good. I'd forgotten how beautifully he writes. He can really set a scene so you feel like you are there!

I loved the Lewis Trilogy, of course. I enjoyed the Firemaker (China Thriller) but haven't gotten back to the series for some reason. I liked Entry Island, a standalone, and gave it a 4.

I've read all his books. The Lewis Trilogy is the best! I loved the Chinese series and the Enzo series too. I've also read Entry Island and Coffin Road last October so I'm sure I won't remember who the murderer was. But no spoilers here! I'll be sure to not give it away if I suddenly remember.

I've read and loved The Lewis Trilogy (Group Read), and still the third book provides one of the best shocks for me in a book. Also read and loved Entry Island. Also read the first book in the Enzo Macleod Series, good but not great and The Firemaker, which is the first book in the Chinese series - I really enjoyed that one.
I'm hoping for a high quality mystery which really gives me a feel of life on the Scottish Islands.

I had forgotten that I had also read Entry Island. I really liked it but thus far this one his the better of the two standalones that I've read.

>11 EadieB: I also read another of his standalones - Runaway. That one was really good too!

>10 Carol420: I really enjoyed Entry Island so if this one beats it, it will be a great read! 😊
