I didn't know where to post this so I will post it here and hope my secret santa gets this. You chose well, I have almost bought Good Grief several times and have been looking forward to reading Infinite Jest. So - whoever you are, thank you :)

keren7, did you have no identifying marks to indicate who your Secret Santa was. The person I had just sent me a thank you on my profile page; I didn't ask how she knew! I was glad to discover I had chosen well! We are still waiting for my husband's SS to arrive!

avaland - I got a thank you on my profile as well. She likes the books! I haven't received my SS yet.

Did you all leave a "note" when you selected your books for your SantaThing person? I didn't realize I could until it was too late. Did LT do that automatically? I just wonder if I should leave a comment on his profile....

I did leave a short note for my person.

I didn't know I could leave a note, but my user name must've been included somewhere. Wonder what percentage gets their package before the holiday. Just tomorrow left; we're still waiting.

I'm hoping Tim finds a way to do anonymous giving next year. I think it would be a great way to thank other Thingers who have been especially friendly, helpful or made great contributions to a group one belongs to.

When my SantaThing package arrived it mentioned who it was on the packing slip.

>7 Irisheyz77:. My husband received his package on the 24th and it also made note of the Secret Santa on the packing slip. He was intrigued with the choices.

My Santa's unername was on the packing slip -- probably becaue they seem to have left a message with their chosen gift-books. (Which reminds me, I ought to write up a thank-you comment.)

My giftee correctly identified my and left a comment on my profile.

no Secret Santa parcel yet, and I'm away from home for the next ten days :-(
still, it will be a nice late Christmas present...

I haven't gotten mine yet either, but I am glad to hear that I am not the only one...I also haven't heard from my recipient, which I am assuming means he hasn't gotten it either.

Tapping fingers impatiently on my desk... =)

I just got mine and will be leaving my SecretSanta a thank you. I haven't heard from the person I picked for though - I hope they received their book.

I heard from the person I picked for today. She liked the books. That's always a good feeling. As you all know its both really fun and really hard to chose books for a fellow book lover!

I liked my books...both from authors that are unfamiliar to me but they sound really interesting. Some good reading to look forward to in the coming year. But first I must finish my library books, resist temptation to get new library books when I return the old, get and read my december early reviewer book, and finish my Go Review That Book group selection.
