Evangelii Gaudium

Perhaps this Apostolic Exhortation would encourage discussion and some sharing of views and experiences of Evangelism. I've read through this quite carefully, more than once, but somehow I find myself more comfortable in meetings related to Catechism than to Evangelism.
What makes it difficult? And how can a lay person get over that?
I suppose I'm grasping in vain for some easy, casual, comfortable openings, and a set of responses for me to use.
Does anyone have a model or style you would recommend?

It was hard for me to get comfortable talking to people about Christianity. I just let God put the words in my mouth - then if it didn't seem to come out well - I trust that was His choice. Keep your nose in the Bible, and things get easier.
