Did you agree that Cabrillo and his crew should rescue the captured soldier? Why?

I did. Because that's who they are. Had they only done what was required of the contract with the Indonesian businessman, they would have been disappointed in themselves (and I would have been too)

it was the right decision to make at the time; it looked like an American or NATO soldier had been captured and would no doubt be executed.

There's no way they could live with themselves if they left a man they believed was headed for execution behind.

They couldn't leave him. They knew that he hadn't been invited to a tea party...these monsters were going to kill him. As >2 bhabeck: said...that's just who they are.

There was no way they could ignore that situation, but it did put the mission at risk.

I knew they would rescue the soldier too as they could not live with themselves if they did not as least try to save him.
